On July 16, 2025, Yizumi launched its UN6600MGII, a 6,600-ton magnesium Thixomolding machine, initiating a "Gigacasting" era for the technology. This machine addresses the significant safety, environmental, and efficiency problems of traditional die casting.

Key advancements include:

• Increased Capacity: A twin-screw design doubles the melting capacity and increases the maximum shot weight from 15kg to 38kg.

• Enhanced Safety: The Thixomolding process melts magnesium in a sealed barrel, isolated from oxygen, and uses much smaller volumes of semi-molten material compared to traditional methods.

• Improved Quality: Higher injection pressure ensures denser large parts and minimizes porosity.

• Greater Efficiency: Integration of a multi-point hot runner system cuts casting waste by 30% and creates more uniform, higher-quality products.
